Media

Media has been impacting people everyday all over the world. It has clouded people's mind. Media lets us communicate and share what's going on today, but it also has its bad side. "Nucleus Research reported that Facebook shaves 1.5% off office productivity while Morse claimed that British companies lost 2.2 billion a year to the social phenomenon" from smallbusiness.chron.com. This shows how media can even affect our personal lives and change the choices we make. Media distracts people in knowing what the big news or new trend because everyone is always gonna be curious with what's going on in the world today. Media also changes our appearance when we see what's the new clothing or what the top outfits are.  People also would want to see a change to prevent the potential trash talking to start. Also said from..."while most sites allow their users to control who sees the things they've posted, such limitations are often forgotten, can be difficult to control or don't work as well as advertised" This also says how our daily lives are changed. People's communication skills would be below average due to the fact that media has changed. People are used to how their habits are from watching others live or with the distraction they find on looking at technology. Media could also be a killer when too much information is revealed too the public. It takes a toll on people's emotions and how they feel. Media is a game changer in the world and it will get worse as time goes on

Macbeth final draft

            The future we long for isn’t going to happen by itself.  It is reached by the way we obtain it. It doesn’t matter how you reached there as long as you got there. This may be a motto to some, to those who enjoy the feeling of being on top of everyone else. Just like Macbeth by Shakespeare, once a man who was loyal and kind became mind who just became selfless to benefit his own life. To not care for anything else but the power he has set upon.

            How it’s reach people may not seem if it is a good intention or in a bad way. Reaching the goal until it is reached, it matters how because it reaches the definition of what it was meant to be for. “You want high office by righteous means” (3.1.2)In the beginning of the book, he never really cares about power. He simply was following what he needed to do and fulfill his duty. “(4.3.1)If fate says ill be king, well, fate may crown me without my help” Whatever the goal may be, he was being toyed with from the start. The witches and even his own wife have influenced him in his decision making without him. Killing Duncan was the choice that determined which path he would take.

            Macbeth isn’t a true king but a man with just a title. “That every moment he’s alive, stabs me to the heart”(3.1.5) His way of doing things after the goal of the Macbeth couple wanted became worse as his dream as king was going to die. People with greed wont mean anything if they reach their goals. Those who are aware wont make any further mistakes. “I’ve nothing to our spur me on but high-leaping ambition, which can often bring about one downfall’s.”  (3.1.2)Now, he lost his humanity. Macbeth is blinded by his position. He would do anything to stay as a king and get rid of those in his ways.  Not knowing what is ahead of him, the path chosen is going to have a rough road ahead.

            Not like Macbeth, without cheating his way there, he got messed up because of how he chose to become a king.  “Free from our feasts and banquets bloody knives. Do faithful homage and receive free honors.”(4.3.3) The good is noticed by their way of living and how they do things. Macbeth lost all his feelings; he only loves what’s on this earth. ”He’s worth sorrow and I’ll give it to him”. (5.7.7) In the end, death came upon him. People never see him as a king but as a traitor to his people. Even though he was king, it mattered how he got to his goal because meaning of it just changed.

Macbeth Pre-Reading work

1. Disagree- every man isn’t motivated by a female to try harder in the things they do. There are people who are pushed by their mother. But for me, our future wants are the things that want me to try harder in life or the goals that I want to reach.

2. Agree- I believe there are evil presences in this world and in the after life.  It is hard to believe that there are evil that may exists and could affect us. Seeing movies that involve this can make us really imagine about it.

3.  Agree- if you know that you will never obtain something the right way, it is natural for us to go the opposite way to do it. It may also become a addiction because of the stuff we get. From experience, I lied myself to people for the things I wanted or to avoid trouble.

4. Agree- everything cant go you’re way. It may be good now but eventually you’re going to go through rough times. Like in video games, I thought I was going to win every time but then I went on a massive losing streak.

5. Agree-our wants can lure us into terrible decision-making. Everyone in this world will always want something and if we have the opportunity to obtain it, of course we will be tempted. I get tempted often but knowing the outcome prevents me from making that decision.

6. Agree- even if it may mean death to that person, it is betters then the death of a country. Preventing it from getting worse, that person should do whatever he can to make the country better. Like a group, if the person were influencing others, I would try my best to confront him.

7. Agree- it is right if the person is like cereal killer or unstable person who does really terrible things. If the person is gone, this will prevent future incidents that could be caused by them. Seeing movies/film would make us feel that the person with all the evil deeds should deserve death.

8. Disagree- to be successful, it should be only done through hard work. There should not be shortcuts when having a healthy future. Now, cheating on you’re work or doing other options to have it the easier way isn’t right to get through school. In the future cheating will not have done anything to help you.

9. Disagree- everyone is created equally in his eyes. Its up to the individual person in what they do in life. In this world, we always witness the world’s leader change from time to time. There are no kings.

10. Agree- the situations people are in make people realize what they need to do. It may help a person in a way with the decisions they make. On a day when I was about to burn all money, it said I needed to cut back on spending.

11. Disagree- traitors are still people like us. They might have made the wrong decisions but it might have been for a reason. These reasons might be for the better or worse. When you’re friends talk behind you’re back, it’s like being a traitor. But it always leads us to forgiveness.

1.  Evil is already inherited in everyone once you are born. It is because of Adam and eve that there are sins in this world. No one can be pure and if we try to resist a bad decision, we will always be tempted. It is also an evil thing to have bad thoughts. All humans are the same, the way we eat, think, shower, etc. Humans can never be away from the options that may bring them terrible situations.

2.  It is fate because I believe the things that will happen in our lives was planned or things that were to be the way that is. The things we do will intertwine with each other’s like it was meant to do. The decisions we make play a huge part of the things to come.

3. I don't think redemption is possible because people will never forget the thing that you did. You can’t simply put a truly bad act and everyone has forgotten an act like it. It is really hard to fully recover because it might have ruined you’re life.

4. It is possible to still admire to respect a person even doe they have made a bad decision. We liked them because of what their known for, we shouldn't dig into their personal life because we all make wrong choices.

5. It depends on what the person is doing to achieve this goal. If it affects other people, then they should stop. It is unnecessary to put other people to a hard matter. It depends on what their goals is too because everyone is different.

1. Critical stance

a. Dehuminization- to deprive human qualities such as individuality with respect to their best qualities

b. The harships that they went through feared them to the point where they didnt care anymore and they were just expecting death to come. The prisoners only will have to listen to the guards and not do what they used to do, to show their faith in God. The survival is the only things on their mind and falling behind wasn't a option for them.

c. He starts to lose his high postivie state and only do what is necessary to live. He feels that he wants to rebel and help the others but his anger is just raging on the inside.

1.  For each of the new decree or action done to the jews by the germans, Wiesel made sure the reactions of the other jews had hope instead of giving up during the hardest times. When they were going on the train, they had it going easy and had a positive side because they thought they were going somewhere safe. Wiesel shows that the smallest thing can give them hope. When the people were on the train, people were broken and saw out was has been happening to the others. He had shown that they were lucky to show where they are now and to survive. When the people got off, they all had given up and thought it was the end. But he showed happiness to see the people that made it through.
